Since 1930 Merck has been in Mexico with a representative office in Mexico City.  In 1966, Merck inaugurated a manufacturing plant in Naucalpan, Estado de Mexico. Up to date we are around 1,300 employees in Mexico and we are still writing our successful history.

The Pharmaceutical business sector includes innovative prescription drugs as well as over-the-counter (OTC) products.

The Chemical business sector offers raw materials for pharmaceutical and personal care cosmetics, special products for R&D and life sciences, laboratory reagents, pigments for printing, plastics, coating and cosmetic industries for environmental and food analysis
