The start of something big

The Merck Group was founded in Germany. The pharmacist Friedrich Jacob Merck acquired the Angel Pharmacy located in Darmstadt. The Pharmacy, is still owned by the Merck family, is the origin of the world’s oldest pharmaceutical – chemical company.

In Mexico, we have a manufacturing site, located in Naucalpan, Estado de México, where we produce prescription drugs, as well as, over-the-counter (OTC) products for local and export market. We also sell highly specific drugs in the fields of Oncology, Neurology, Fertility and Endocrinology and we import and sell chemical products for printing, plastic, coating, cosmetics, foods, and pharmaceutical industries.
